About Us
Proud to be a year-round business in Camden, Maine! Founded on Bay View Street in 1983, Once A Tree moved to Main Street in 2008, and in 2020 we took the helm from the original owner, Bernice. We're delighted to carry on the Once A Tree tradition of a store full of gorgeously made and unique items. We try to showcase Maine and New England artisans as much as possible, though we have vendors from all over the world. Gift wrapping is always complimentary - just add a note to your order!
We also take pride in being a local business because we can support the following local organizations: the Camden Rockport Schools, the Camden Public Library, AIO Food Pantry and Energy Assistance, United Midcoast Charities, PAWS, the Camden Garden Club, Into the Light, Sweet Shots, Camden Pride PopUps, the Camden Area Business Group, the Camden Festival of Poetry - many other various efforts that ask throughout the year!
